Samuga Media
Editorial policy
Effective date: 26 July 2026
Samuga Media aims to publish accurate, clear and fair information. Speed is important, but it does not replace verification.
Accuracy and verification
We assess source reliability, seek confirmation for major claims and distinguish confirmed facts from allegations or developing information. Headlines should accurately reflect the article body.
AI-assisted work
AI may help with discovery, drafting, translation, summaries, formatting and consistency checks. AI-generated output must not be treated as a source. Important names, dates, offices, locations and claims should be checked against available evidence before publication.
Sources and attribution
We may use official statements, direct reporting, public records, eyewitness material and reputable reporting. Anonymous sources are used only when their information is important and their identity requires protection.
Independence
Advertisers, sponsors and business partners do not control newsroom conclusions. Sponsored material is labelled.
Graphic or sensitive material
We avoid unnecessary harm and provide context or warnings where material could be disturbing. The dignity and privacy of victims, children and vulnerable people are considered before publication.
